Dr. Sarah Wildermuth, a native of Huntsville, OH, is a distinguished academic. She excelled at Indian Lake High School, graduating as the valedictorian. Her academic journey continued at Wright State University, where she pursued her undergraduate studies. Her exceptional performance led to her early acceptance into The Ohio State University College of Optometry after just two years. In 2015, Dr. Wildermuth proudly graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree and has since been a valuable member of the Eyes On Main team.
Dr. Wildermuth's commitment to eye care extends beyond her local community. During her time in optometry school, she actively participated in various service organizations, channeling her passion for eye care internationally. As a member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, she, along with three of her classmates, journeyed to Frome, Jamaica, to provide much-needed eye care to the local community. Her involvement in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH) was equally impactful, where she played a key role in distributing donated glasses to over 1,100 individuals in San Alejo, Honduras, during her fourth year of school.
Dr. Wildermuth enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She is passionate about fitting patients with contact lenses, especially patients told they can no longer wear contacts due to dry eye or needing bifocals.
Dr. Wildermuth enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and her three daughters in her free time. Her hobbies include running, cooking, and doing Pinterest crafts.
